Mike’s skewed world vision is the result of growing up on the mean streets of small town Wisconsin. It’s where he developed a fondness for the music of Kurtis Blow as well as drinking beer in sub-zero temperatures. After a stellar career as a 6’4” power forward on his 5-16 high school basketball team and somehow graduating from college, Mike moved to Arizona where he worked as a private investigator for twelve years before entering the world of stand up comedy. His views on politics, sports, parenting, and pop culture are just crazy enough to be sane. Mike is a regular at Stand Up Scottsdale, Stand Up Live in Phoenix, and Laff’s in Tucson. He’s a two time participant in the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas and was a special guest on the Beards of Comedy Tour in 2011. While Mike’s mother would like him to get a job requiring a shirt and tie, he seems determined to be underemployed for the rest of his life.
